Limelight's Consignment Guidelines
Clothes MUST be free of stains, free of deodorant marks, clean, no buttons missing, no holes.
Denim must be designer denim preferably purchased within the last 2 years
We love everything from casual to cocktail, but business attire is not our target. We can make suggestions to you of what consignment shops do well with that type of clothing.
We love vintage clothes, but only accept vintage that mixes well with contemporary designers. Vintage that can be revamped with a belt or layered is always fun. And, we love vintage jewelry.
Just because you're willing to consign your clothes does not mean we're willing to take it. Please don't be offended if we reject your clothes. We're saving you the trouble of having to just pick up all your clothes at the end of the season. We take items based on our ability to sell them -- and that simply means success for you, for us and the customer!
If you consign with us toward the end of a season, the length of time we keep your item on the sales floor will be abbreviated. Make an effort to bring seasonal items in early to give them ample time to sell.
Feel free to give us suggestions on how you want your items priced.
Know beforehand what your threshold is for "letting go." We make every effort to help you get the money back you desire, as long as we feel it's reasonable based on customer expectations. By consigning with us, you understand that we have control over all pricing on all items as long as they remain at Limelight.
